Did you know that 1 in 150 children in the United States are diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder?  A parent hears the words, "Your child has autism" once every 20 minutes.

Pictured here with his dad, Peter, and little brother, Billy (left), Petey (right), age 10, was diagnosed with Autism when he was 2 years old. While experts disagree on the causes of Autism, it's likely that Petey's is the result of poisoning from mercury (which is used as a preservative in many vaccines). Petey's abilities may be limited by his disorder, but he remains a sweet, loving boy, who loves anything to do with the outdoors and water! He adores riding his scooter, swimming, and kayaking, as well as his little brother and four big sisters -- all of whom adore him too!
